Errors

All exceptions of the client are subclasses of APIError.

APIError

class APIError(Exception)

Base error of the Netz OÖ eService API, e.g. for HTTP and connection errors.

APIError(message: str = '', /, *, status: int | HTTPStatus | None = None)

Parameters

• message str (default: ''): Error message. Is replaced by the HTTP status description if a status is given, but is kept in detail, e.g. the response body.
• status int | HTTPStatus | None (default: None): HTTP status associated with the error. Status codes that are not part of HTTPStatus are kept as int.

InvalidJsonError

class InvalidJsonError(APIError)

The response of the eService portal is not valid JSON, e.g. the maintenance page.

AuthenticationError

class AuthenticationError(APIError)

The credentials were rejected by the eService portal (HTTP 401).
